I have a conviction that we are all created to create. I believe it’s in our design.

I think there’s something within us all that itches to make; whether that’s painting, or writing, or building, or even organizing systems. There’s a pull to use our hands or minds or whatever it may be to produce something new or better than what was.

Over the last few years, this inkling within me was sewing. It’s fun to put together an item that can be worn or used in our home. I love the idea that if there’s a need, I can often find a way to fulfill it.

I’ve been able to use this outlet for others through gifts or even products I sell.

My mom took me under her wing and helped me get my first sewing machine, make my first few items, and even create a small business with it.

It’s so fun to create!

My grandmother is a quilter, and I hope that I can be too. I took on two quilting projects to stretch my wings. I hope these are just the start of many more.
